Paris Baguette is adding a spicy twist to Halloween with two unusual chocolate creations: a Ghost Pepper Chocolate Marble Mochi Donut and a Ghost Pepper Iced Hot Chocolate.

Announced on 24 September, the seasonal menu combines chocolate’s familiar sweetness with the heat of ghost pepper, offering consumers a different take on traditional Halloween treats. The limited-time menu runs from 1 October through 1 November 2026.

Chocolate Meets Spicy Flavour

The Ghost Pepper Chocolate Marble Mochi Donut combines the bakery’s signature mochi-style doughnut with chocolate marble frosting and a spicy kick. The Ghost Pepper Iced Hot Chocolate takes a similar approach, pairing chocolate flavour with heat in a chilled drink.

The menu also features other Halloween-themed products, including a Dirt & Worms Chocolate Chiffon Cake made with chocolate cake, cookies-and-cream cream and chocolate cookie crumbs, topped with gummy worms.

A Different Approach to Halloween Chocolate

Seasonal chocolate products often rely on familiar shapes, colours and fillings. Paris Baguette’s sweet-and-spicy concept shows how brands can experiment with flavour to make Halloween offerings stand out.

Combining chocolate with chilli-inspired heat is not entirely new, but introducing the idea into a mochi doughnut and iced chocolate drink gives consumers another way to experience the pairing.

The launch also reflects the growing role of limited-time menus in creating seasonal interest and encouraging consumers to try unusual flavour combinations.
