Oreo is bringing extra Halloween excitement to the biscuit aisle with a new limited-edition collection featuring colourful cream fillings, spooky designs and glow-in-the-dark packaging.

The new Spooky Colored Creme cookies combine the brand’s familiar chocolate wafers with bright orange and green cream. Their individual snack packs feature Halloween-inspired designs intended to make them stand out during the seasonal shopping period.

Oreo has also brought back its Halloween Boo cookies, featuring orange filling and festive packaging. Other seasonal launches from parent company Mondelēz International include a mystery-flavoured Chips Ahoy! cookie.

The collection demonstrates how familiar products can be refreshed through seasonal colours, packaging and playful variations without completely changing their identity.

Why it matters: Halloween provides brands with an opportunity to refresh established products and attract shoppers through limited editions. Packaging can play an important role in making familiar treats more appealing for parties, gifting and seasonal sharing.

At Macao Cacao, we follow the latest chocolate biscuit launches, seasonal campaigns and confectionery innovations from across the globe.
