Spanish chocolate maker Chocolates Trapa has refreshed its Halloween offering for 2026 by replacing its traditional cardboard gift box with a reusable orange bag decorated with pumpkins, bats and ghosts.

The limited-edition Trick or Trap pack includes several chocolate bars, white chocolate pralines and individually wrapped mini bars. It is designed for sharing at home and handing out treats during Halloween celebrations.

The reusable bag is the key change this year: consumers can continue using it after the chocolates have been eaten, including for collecting Halloween sweets. The pack has a recommended retail price of €9.90 and is available through the company’s online shop and direct sales point in Spain, while stocks last.

Why it matters: Seasonal packaging can do more than make chocolate look festive. By offering packaging that can be reused, brands can give consumers additional value while making their Halloween products stand out in a crowded market.

At Macao Cacao, we explore the latest chocolate launches, packaging developments and confectionery trends from around the world.
