Cadbury is giving chocolate lovers more control over their festive treats with a new online Heroes Pick & Mix service in the UK. The initiative allows customers to build their own selection boxes by choosing the chocolates they enjoy most.

Instead of receiving a standard assortment, shoppers can select from favourites including Twirl, Crunchie Bits, Dinky Deckers, Fudge, Cadbury Caramel and Dairy Milk Chunks. The service is designed to offer a more personalised gifting experience ahead of Christmas.

Two box sizes are available: a 1kg box priced at £35 and a 1.25kg box priced at £40. The customisable boxes are sold through Cadbury’s online shop, offering an alternative to the traditional Heroes tubs found in supermarkets.

The launch reflects a wider retail trend towards personalisation, where consumers are increasingly offered more choice over the products they buy and give as gifts. For Cadbury, it also creates a direct online shopping experience that connects the brand with customers beyond the supermarket aisle.

Why It Matters

As competition intensifies during the Christmas confectionery season, established brands are exploring new ways to make familiar products feel more personal. Cadbury’s approach combines well-known chocolate favourites with convenience and customisation, potentially appealing to shoppers looking for more individual gifting options.

At Macao Cacao, we bring you the latest chocolate launches, retail innovations and business developments shaping the global confectionery industry.
